INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEAD LIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the head light cleaner switch.

(b) Check the illumination operation.

(1) Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 7 (Ill+) and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 6 (Ill-), and then check that the illumination illuminates.

OK:

Illumination illuminates.

If the illumination does not illuminate, replace the head light cleaner switch.
